Luas Near Maldron Hotel Tallaght
The Light Rail Transit System in Dublin is called the Luas. There are two Luas tram lines: the Red line and the Green line. The Red Line is 20kms in length and has 32 Stops. The Red Line runs from Tallaght to the O2 venue in the Dublin Docklands and from Saggart to Connolly train station. The Green Line is 16.5km in length and has 22 Stops. The Green Line runs from Brides Glen to St. Stephen’s Green through Sandyford.
To reach the city centre from Maldron Hotel Tallaght by Luas, it takes about 35 minutes - 5 minutes on foot to get to the Luas stop and then about 30 minutes on the Red Line to the 3Arena. The most centrally located stop is Abbey Street when you can hop off and explore all the city has to offer.

Where buy the tickets?
Ticket vending machines are located at every stop along the route. They accept coins, notes, laser and credit cards, and also give change. Please note that tickets cannot be purchased on board the trams. You must have a valid ticket at all times on board the tram.
